The geysers are a fascinating site to visit. They are surrounded by the alien-like landscape and unique features of the Atacama. Which should not be ignored. This aspect of South America may not be as spoken about as the beaches and jungle, but it is as magnificent and well worth the excursion. PROS:

- Meal stops usually included
CONS:
- Long drives to locations
- Early rises
- Food could be limited
