We didn’t follow the publisher agenda ex we stopped at the apartheid museum and university which wasn’t advertised. The university was on strike! Also the Tour guide was not aware of the new Mandela statues in a park. Guides were informative and helpful but tour lasted a bit too long.

Very disappointing. We booked a 4 hour trip around Durban, unfortunately the guide didn’t seem to know that we were not on a full day trip. We stopped at the Apartheid Museum as expected but after that he did his own itinerary! By the time we had visited the Botanical Gardens we were up to the 5 hour mark and we voted to return to the ship missing the uShaka village walk altogether! The minibus was cramped, we were literally sat cheek to cheek fortunately the air conditioning was fine as it was a hot day.
