Oh my God going all the way up to Huayna Picchu was absolutely amazing! The overview of Machu Picchu city from the top of Huayna Picchu is spectacular. We first walked around Machu Picchu city with a private guide we booked beforehand. He explained us a lot about the city of the Incas. It’s very worthy and interesting to book the tour guide. This admission ticket gave us 2 entrances to Machu Picchu which was great!!! They need to be used on the same day so take that into account. We used the first one early in the morning with our private guide. Then we exit, had a bite and went back in to hike up Huayna Picchu! I booked it for 10am but they give you one hour to show up at the entrance of Huayna Picchu. You need to sign in a book and then off you go!!! Up to the mountain for the best view!

Incredible day. Machu Picchu had been on the bucket list for a while and it did not disappoint. The hike up Huayna Picchu, is tough, but totally worth it. The views you get over Machu Picchu are breathtaking. I cannot recommend this enough.

Only a limited of hikers allowed each day so tickets need to be bought ahead of time.. I was glad I was able to buy the tickets on Viator.com A website I trust.

We arranged for 2 packages, a 7am entrance to climb HP and then a 10am tour of MP. First, Viajes Pacifico advised us to do the 7am climb and we are so glad they did! We were able to be the first up on the mountain and get down in time for a 10am tour, all before the hoards of tourists arrived. Second, Marco with was our guide. He was excellent. He helped with photos, gave us in depth understanding of MP, spoke excellent English and went above and beyond in customer service. Third, Viajes Pacifico and Marco went above and beyond in customer service. Marco met us at the train station, took us to our hotel, provided us with bus and entrance tickets and advised us on what to do to climb the mountain and where to meet him after for our tour. All very easy to understand and coordinate. Without any reservation I recommend Marco and Viajes Pacifico.
