If you are touring Paris and want to see it’s most prevalent and revered monuments then the best way to do that is on an incredible Versailles Palace tour. This famed chateau makes for an unforgettable experience as you stroll through the breathtaking rooms and sprawling estate.
With the help of a handy audio guide, you can make your way through the ornate State Apartments, glimmering Hall and Mirrors and unbelievable rooms that once housed the height of French royalty. Discover the home of a succession of French kings who lived and reigned at the palace, and continued to embellish it for years.
One of the palace’s most prominent features is the spectacular Hall of Mirrors. Gilded bronze statues stand amongst crystal chandeliers and giant mirrors that reflect the light flowing in through Versailles’ high windows. The State Apartments are another firm favorite.
They include a series of prestigious rooms, each more opulent than the next, bedecked in paintings and rich in color.
The palace was dubbed the Museum of the History of France at the end of its years as a royal home. It was then devoted to housing a collection of paintings and sculptures representing prominent French characters and remarkable events.
Take your time on your tour of Versailles, including the iconic place where the Treaty of Versailles was signed, putting an end to WWI. Then, experience the French Gardens, where manicured lawns and lush groves await. You can also breathe in the aromatic scents of Versailles Orangery, which is filled with orange, lemon, palm, oleander, plum and pomegranate trees (some of which are over 200 years old).
Book your Versailles tickets for an unforgettable tour of a truly grand place, which reflects into its very own lake like an exquisite oil painting.

This is not a tour. This basically consists of a bus ride and entrance. You do still have to wait in line but the line is not nearly as long as the regular line for tickets and entrance. The grounds are very large. You are given a map of the grounds and basically given no tips as to what are the best ways to utilize your time. You are on your own once you enter. There are bikes/golf carts/ trams/ canoeing in the lake available however by the time we realized this we did not have enough time to utilize. It would be impossible to see everything in the time allotted if you only walk. There are many restaurants on site. Also was not given any info on this. It would be helpful if the guides utilized the time on the bus ride over to give you information on how best to utilize your time since you only have 4 hours on the grounds. It takes you an hour to hour and half just to make it through the inside portion. The gardens will take much much longer.

1. The address to the pickup point was wrong. It said " Etoile: 2, Avenue Foch" it should be "Etoile 8" This was a source of confusion and scrambling at the last moment. 2. There was no heads-up that bathrooms would not be available for 3 hours from the initial boarding of the bus. 3. If headphones were not to be provided the literature could have suggested that we bring ours. 4. The guide could have explained better what to expect once in the castle. I had no idea of what to do or that there were restaurants inside the castle.

We traveled with small children. We’ve been there many times. We had to wait in 4 different lines in the rain, for a total of over an hour. Then my wife got separated from us at security and our guide would not let me help her with the stroller and the kids.

Great experience! We had a very kind guide the bus was always on time. The spoken languages were fluently and good to understand. No problems with the entrance or return. Truly recommend
