I assumed we would get up close and personal to the Mona Lisa and the other masterpieces, but you have to stand in the masses like everyone else. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly but even with the express tour, it was all a bit overwhelming. You’d do better to just buy general admission and go in yourself.

Our group had 5 people plus another person who missed her earlier tour so it does live up to the tour description. We took the Metro and the meeting place was a short walk. Our guide provided interesting insight on why the Museum put certain paintings in the same room. He explained how Mona Lisa painting became famous prior to people discovered her smile. He also explained where to get cool breeze, it’s so hot inside the Museum and why we need the map to fan ourselves. We did spend a few more hours after the tour, especially sitting around the fountains.

I don’t like spending too much time standing around so this tour was perfect. We squeezed most of the highlights into 1.5 hours, which was perfect for us. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable

Nev was knowledgeable and pointed out important artistic trends of various time periods. We learned how different eras led into others and were reflected in art. Valuable tour!

This tour was just what we needed — we wanted a shorter tour because my parents (in their 80s) were with us — and while we focused on only a few of the masterpieces, our guide, Sylvie, really taught us how to look at the art…and how to navigate the crowds.

Our son is 6 and he’s shy with new people. Our guide Tatiana was wonderful with he quickly felt at ease with her. We had a great time learning new things and making fond memories. This was our sons first visit to a museum and we didn’t want it to be boring for him. With Tatiana as his own personal guide it was a fun and magical experience for him. We all learned a great deal our son loved it and he can’t wait to go back again. We will definitely book this tour again.

Guide was punctual and we promptly skipped a long line, which was nice. As far as the actual tour, I would’ve rather seen on my own pace using the English audio headset they provide. I feel like I would’ve got a better background on the art than what I got from the guide.

Our guide Alberto was on time, pleasant and knowledgeable. He was in the company of my 13 and 16 year old Greek wiz daughters and they hit it off really well. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the finer details of must see plus what interested the girls. It was about them not what he thought they should see. I would highly recommend this tour, if you like very personable, interesting and fun…this is the tour to get. Ask for Alberto!!!!!

We took our boys age 8 and 11 to Paris and we are so glad we found the kid-friendly skip-the-line tour through Viator! It was worth every penny. Our tour guide was Alberto who was simply awesome. We were late showing up and he was so patient with us! He was funny and took us to the key points in the museum which would have taken us hours to figure out on our own. It was just long enough for the kids and we stuck around a little bit after the tour to see a few more things on our own. Alberto also gave us tips and hints on other things to see in Paris on our trip. I can’t recommend this tour and Alberto enough.

Fantastic! Our family truly enjoyed the Louvre Tour with Tatiana! Skipping the line was great. We met with Tatiana outside, and walked right in to the Louvre Museum using the group security screening entrance, bypassing the long lines of people at the main entrance. Tatiana kept our 6 year old engaged throughout the tour. Tatiana had several stories and activities that were created for her age group, and even taught her how to write her name in hieroglyphics! What a perfect way to experience the Louvre Museum with a family and kids!

Our tour guide, Annabelle, was fantastic, showing us the highlights of the museum, and telling us many stories and facts behind the artifacts and paintings. It was wonderful to have the guided tour, as one can easily get off the time track in the Louvre. Kids eves went wider, and wider, and wider – as we passed the regular line for museum entrance on our way out. Highly recommend this tour for families with young children! Ours are 9 and 6, and they had a great time, and so did we!

This was the perfect way to see the Lourve. She was very knowledgeable and brought us to the ‘must see’ works. We then stayed a while on our own to wander.

We were lucky enough to have a private tour guided by Carolina. She was so extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the museum and the art. We learned so much about the Louvre and the many schools of art represented there. I can’t say enough good thing about Carolina and the entire tour! It was a wonderful visit! Merci Beaucoup!!

Josephine is an amazing tour guide. Remember when you were in school and you had that class that you could not wait to get to because the teacher was so good. A teacher that made the subject matter come alive for you. That is what it is like to have a private tour with Josephine. We learned so much on our tour. We actually had a large group tour a few days earlier and the experience was a night and day difference!

Our tour guide was so awesome he got us through the line in minutes and was so full of information on the art and displays. We really got the best guide ever. Although, Viator customer service line is outsourced and not friendly towards customers in general or informed about their products. What they sell is pretty cool. Use Viator.com and not there customer service line and you will benefit. I give viator.com 5 star rating and their customer service line 1.

Private tour for 4 people with Julien, a most skilled and knowledgeable guide of the Louvre. Entered through private entrance to beat the crowd and saw more in 2 hours than most see in the whole day. Unless you are traveling with an Art Major, someone like Julien is the only way to get you through the maze of rooms to find the art you want to see or find. If you only have one day for the Louvre, then this is the tour to take.

We had an excellent tour with Julien. Julien did a GREAT job. None of us are particularly art lovers, etc., but we all enjoyed the quick, general introduction to the Louvre. ALSO, it was great having such an experienced guide to get us in and around quickly. The Louvre was VERY crowded and Julien was masterful at getting us around the crowds.

I recently did this tour with Fabia and it was so disappointing. The museum was exceptional crowded the day we tour the Louvre, however Fabia made the experience worse. Her English is not very good and she was very rude and short with us. She seemed like she had other things that she would rather be doing. I highly recommend having a guide for the Louvre but this is not the one you want.

1st time visitor, we were advised to join a tour. Glad we did bc it’s a complete mob scene and thanks to our guide, we got a good brief run thru the museum. Our guide was interesting and friendly.

My husband and I had a really great time on this tour. We met at the location, Arc du Carrousel, which was not difficult to find. Our tour guide, Violet (City Wonders) walked us in and guided us throughout the museum. She was very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable about the history and artifacts of the museum. We did a late tour, beginning at 630pm. There were so many things to see that we did not have an opportunity to visit any gift shops or boutiques when we concluded so keep this in mind if these things interest you.

Our guide, Manny, was not responsible for the Monday crowd at the Louvre, but he spent way too much time ‘yammering’ (my wife’s term) about inane information – instead of taking us to and identifying and explaining the important works. At one point,he went on for several minutes about ordering in restaurants – not what we paid for. After an hour, the four of us turned in our headsets (one of which only worked half of the time) and set off on our own. We’ll try another guide company next time.

This tour was tops. Skip-the-line tickets allowed us to take the back group entrance and the group security entrance, and we waited for maybe 15 minutes total to get inside and begin the tour. Worth every penny. Aleister (Alistair?) was a wonderful guide. He was funny, witty, and his Scottish lilt gave a +10 to the day (think David Tennant, not Douglas Henshall). The tour hit the main pieces in the Louvre, and included a tour of a section I would have never known existed–the original fortress wall reconstruction. Aleister provided interesting facts about various exhibits, as well as suggesting the best vantage points for photos. You can stay in the Louvre after the tour ends, so we ended up spending 8.5 hours wandering through the Louvre that day. Take advantage of eating lunch on the outdoor veranda over the pyramid courtyard. You won’t regret it. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

My wife and I took this tour in early May 2019. It was great, easy to meet up with the group, quick access to the Louvre, and a great 3 hour tour by a real professional guide. Our English speaking tour guide was from Scotland and had a tremendous knowledge of the Louvre. I recommend this tour to anyone want to go to the Louvre and after seeing the lines there this is the quickest way to get in.

The Louvre is Huge The Louvre is ginormous and this tour only shows a tiny portion of it but you are able to stay in the Louvre after the tour ends. Our guide was very spunky and wonderful. The Mona Lisa is in a separate room and it’s a complete mad house to see it. I would say it is worth it to do this tour but I wish I was Beyoncé and could pay to take a tour after hours! Be sure to tip your guide!

Louvre confusion I felt that the map given with the audio gudie needs a clearer explanation of the starting point, etc. It was very unclear and luckily I had been there before so I knew where to go. I don't feel that this is worth the amount paid for an audio guide which is quite limited in terms of information.
