I assumed we would get up close and personal to the Mona Lisa and the other masterpieces, but you have to stand in the masses like everyone else. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly but even with the express tour, it was all a bit overwhelming. You’d do better to just buy general admission and go in yourself.
