And it’s worth to visit Catacombs as this is one of the important attractions in Paris

Redemption of ticket is easy and fuss free! just need to show the staff the booking voucher and you can enter already! the whole experience was really good and interesting! with the audio guide, I was able to understand and learn more about this catacombs history. best if you could go light, without any heavy bag as it is quite a long walk and you need to climb flight of stairs in and out.

Arrive about 10-15 minutes early, bring headphones (with a jack, not Bluetooth) for the tour. It is cool inside but definitely not freezing and unless you’re in pretty decent shape, you will get a workout climbing out. It is well worth the money to purchase skip the line passes.

We had an excellent guide. Not sure how to spell his name but it was Tuc. Very friendly and knowledgeable! He made sure our group stayed together an everyone could both see and hear him. We went behind the scenes from the public tour. Very interesting stories. We were also able to skip a really long line for it with this tour. Great decision on our part.

This was a wonderful tour for our family of four – boys are 13 and 16. It was about 1 hour and 45 minutes in length – totally doable for our family. Our group was maybe 12 in size. Our tour guide UL, or EL?? was very fun and knowledgeable and kept it short, sweet and interesting for all – you weren’t in one place too long while underground. Would def recommend your family to go and see!!

This is an excellent tour and I cannot believe I forgot the guides name he had a heavy eastern european accent This tour allows you access to many parts of the catacombs that are off limits to the public. I do not think I would have enjoyed it without the tour as the guide gave so much background to the history. After a while you realize it is just a graveyard, but being in a tour added to the experience. The line to get in is crazy long too, we skipped in front of people who had been there 1-2 hours. They can only let in a certain amount of people at a time. You definitely want to pay for the tour and skip the line, worth the money.

This was a fascinating tour. The catacombs were created because of the overflow of the Paris cemeteries in the late 1700s. They actually brought the bones here and displayed them in artistic presentations. Some people were also buried here but most skeletons were transferred after previous burial. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting things.

Awesome to learn the history about the catacombs and I know the tour has to wind its way from beginning to end but after the first 100,000 sets of bones it becomes a little much. Great guide. She knew her stuff and was very protective of our group.

We had a great time visiting the Catacombs with John as our tour guide. It is one of the longest lines in Paris, so not only was it great to skip the line, but also amazing to learn about the history of Paris while inside the catacombs. John was very knowledgeable and did a great job teaching us about the catacombs. I would definitely recommend to anyone going.

May sound morbid or macabre but a great tour! Truly amazing the back story and our guide Brad was wonderful. The steps going down to the catacombs, can be tricky for some people due to the spiral staircase. It’s very cool down in the catacombs so you may want to bring a light sweater / shirt along. It’s truly incredible how many bones there are down here but at the end of the day….it doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor your bones are with all kinds of class. Which is funny when you think about how much emphasis the rich placed on their lives and how they looked down their noses at the lower class. Ha, the joke is on them as they are all together, You are not allowed to use a flash as it can damage the bones. There is lighting but it’s not very bright.

This tour was great and completely worth the price to skip the line. During my trip, the line extended for probably a multi-hour wait. The catacombs were amazing. A must see if you’re in Paris!

I would not recommend Viator as a booking agent or City Wonders as a tour agency. I booked six Paris tours through Viator at considerable expense – all with different tour companies. City Wonders our catacombs tour company sent me two unexplained text messages about a change in meeting place for an Eiffel Tower tour which was booked with another tour agency – causing us to miss the tour completely. Customer service not helpful with either company.

So thankful we booked this tour. Skipped VERY long line, had an English speaking guide who had wonderful stories. We had access to a few areas not accessible to others.

This tour was awesome as was our guide Ferret (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). He was informative and told many a tale. You must book this tour – don’t queue or you will be waiting an average of 2-3 hours to get in as they only let in a certain number at a time. Besides we saw so much more.

Ferret, our tour guide was wonderful. He was animated and knowledgeable and really good with the kids on the tour. My son aptly called the catacombs creepy. These are way creepier than the ones in Rome. We learned a lot and the guide was great, but we were very glad to get back above ground. Not one of my favorite sites in Paris.

The tour was amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable. It was not morbid or scary but just very interesting with the description of the construction and how it all came about. We would recommend that you take an organised skip the line tour, as there was a cue already around the block waiting to get to the entrance. The people at the end of the line were advised it would take 4 hours for them to get to the entrance. They only allow a maximum number of people underground at any time.
