This hike was far more challenging than I expected. However, the reward at the top far surpasses any and all obstacles along the path. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen and layers. You will not be disappointed.

Oh my God going all the way up to Huayna Picchu was absolutely amazing! The overview of Machu Picchu city from the top of Huayna Picchu is spectacular. We first walked around Machu Picchu city with a private guide we booked beforehand. He explained us a lot about the city of the Incas. It’s very worthy and interesting to book the tour guide. This admission ticket gave us 2 entrances to Machu Picchu which was great!!! They need to be used on the same day so take that into account. We used the first one early in the morning with our private guide. Then we exit, had a bite and went back in to hike up Huayna Picchu! I booked it for 10am but they give you one hour to show up at the entrance of Huayna Picchu. You need to sign in a book and then off you go!!! Up to the mountain for the best view!

Incredible day. Machu Picchu had been on the bucket list for a while and it did not disappoint. The hike up Huayna Picchu, is tough, but totally worth it. The views you get over Machu Picchu are breathtaking. I cannot recommend this enough.

We arranged for 2 packages, a 7am entrance to climb HP and then a 10am tour of MP. First, Viajes Pacifico advised us to do the 7am climb and we are so glad they did! We were able to be the first up on the mountain and get down in time for a 10am tour, all before the hoards of tourists arrived. Second, Marco with was our guide. He was excellent. He helped with photos, gave us in depth understanding of MP, spoke excellent English and went above and beyond in customer service. Third, Viajes Pacifico and Marco went above and beyond in customer service. Marco met us at the train station, took us to our hotel, provided us with bus and entrance tickets and advised us on what to do to climb the mountain and where to meet him after for our tour. All very easy to understand and coordinate. Without any reservation I recommend Marco and Viajes Pacifico.

Just to give other people some details that I couldn’t find… these tickets are good to enter twice. You can do normal MP, leave for lunch, and return for the hike. Also this hike is intense and fairly long. 2-3 hours round trip for the HP trail. I wasn’t aware of any of this when buying these tickets.

Best trip ever. I bought the tickets 6 mo in advance since the hike of Huayna Pichu is limited to 200 people each time slot. 7 am and 10 am. Magic trip with my family, husband and 4 young adults kids. Lovely! Viator manage the booking very well. Thanks

It ia a very nice place and the visit is totally worth it. The problem is that I couldn’t see few places because they were close after 10 in the morning and nobody warned us to prioritize these spots. Signals are not so good, only thing which is very noticeable is the way out.

The ticket worked. Which you never know with Get Your Guide. I did not recieve the ticket until the day before. I had to call and make sure they were sending it to me. It arrived but was aggravating that they couldn't get me the ticket when I paid for it.

Absolutely worth the hike. Stunning view. A must-see! It took us about 90-100 minutes from Auges Calientes to the entrance gates of Machu Picchu. We were there around 8:30-8:45. It did not takes us long to get in. After that we went straight up to Machu Picchu Mountain. This hike took us about two hours up and one hour down. You should be there early, because the Mountain closes quite early. So in order to spend some time on the mountain, enjoying the landscape, the views and taking some nice shots, you should be up there around 11 am. At the latest. The clouds move rapidly. Do not become desperate if Machu Picchu is covered in clouds for the first 30 minutes. Just be patient and wait. Enjoy the wind, the height and the view. It is absolutely worth it.

A truly unforgettable experience! The vistadome train ride to & from Machu Picchu was quite enjoyable and provided beautiful scenery with delicious pisco sour drinks. The tickets were delivered to our hotel by Max and he accompanied us to the train station to ensure we had a smooth departure towards Aguas Calientes.

It was time-saving to purchase Huayna Picchu entrance ticket. Machu Picchu is amazing and a must-see. Purchase entrance tickets in advance is an more expensive but time-saving way to do.
