Best Time To Go Cruise in Playa del Carmen
The best time to visit Playa del Carmen for boat trips is between April and May. There are generally fewer people on the beach since it’s not the summer season. The daily temperatures are anywhere between 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit, which drops slightly at night. October through to March is a lot warmer and drier which is also ideal, but the town will be a lot more crowded.

La isla contoy es el paraíso, pero la isla de las mujeres es bastante aburrido. Visitamos una playa donde nadamos en el agua tranquila pero hay muchísimos barcos, edificios, tiendas y la gente. Era imposible hacer las fotografias bonitas. Según nuestro opinión este lugar no vale la pena. Es mejor no parar aquí y tener más tiempo libre a contoy. Nuestro guide nos dijo mucha información muy interesante y divertida sobre la isla y su habitantes y plantes y nos dió el tour inolvidable. A mi novio ya mí nos gustó mucho nuestras aventuras.

Everything was excellent. I can recommend. The team was very attentive and the tour was professionally organized. The stop over in Isla Mujeres was maybe a little unnecessary, we had very little time (1 hour) and there was no program to follow. Many people didn't know where to go or what to do.

Simply a must! After initial skepticism when boarding the boat and leading into a Black Diamond shop on Isla Mujeres, all expectations were exceeded at the latest afterwards and it was a day that will be remembered for the rest of your life. The island of Contoy was gorgeous and there were hardly any tourists on the island. Lunch was very good and finally something local after the rest in Cancun was influenced by American standards. On the drive to the island a turtle could be seen and on the island next to the beach, which could also be a wallpaper on Google, many wild animals such as crabs and lizards were right around us at lunch. On the way back, the guides offered some animation in addition to free beer. Recommended to everyone and at least as much a must on the trip as Chichen Itza.

I do not recommend it from Bahia Principe or similar in km, it is 2 hours to Cancun, then a boat to Isla Mujeres to be only one hour, then 1.5 to Contoy to be 2 hours including food and another 3.5 or 4 hours back to the hotel. It's a beating for spending so little time in Contoy, I think that from Cancun it would be much better. In addition, the driver of the minibus ran a lot on very complicated roads, full of potholes, junctions and cars. Although the island of Contoy is beautiful and the guides are super professional and attentive.
