Carefully crafted at the XXXX Brewery for over a century, XXXX beer (pronounced four-ex) is Australia’s number one beer. This guided tour takes you through the brewery, uncovering its inner-workings and secrets.

This XXXX tour covers everything about the brand, from the production methods to the brewery’s rich 136-year history, and reveals how the beer got its iconic name. You’ll learn how the beer is made and be taught how to pour a perfect beer.

After starting in the visitors center, guests will walk through the heart of the brewery. The XXXX Brewery tour offers the opportunity to witness the XXXX beer production first hand as you learn about the raw ingredients used in the brewing process.

If your tour happens to be on a weekday, you’ll likely get to see the impressive packaging hall in action, where thousands of bottles fly by on a distribution line.

The tour ends off with a tasting of some freshly brewed beer at the brewery restaurant while your guide provides insights on the complex flavors. Feel free to relax at the bar after the tour has ended to enjoy some more of the brewery’s world-class beer.

This was a very enjoyable and informative tour. Recommend to do the tour Monday to Thursday, as Friday and weekends are non production days. Don’t bother eating there as the meals are bad.

The tour it’s self was excellent, very informative and interesting. The facilities at the complex were good and the food in the restaurant was very enjoyable. The only fly in the ointment was that we were told the wrong bus number to get from the city to the brewery by the information centro in the Queens St mall and finished up in Auchenflower where we had to find the railway station to get a train to Milton..,which made us late for the start of our tour. Fortunately we were able to change to a later tour. There was no information on the station platform to tell us what train to get which is disconcerting for visitors not used to the Brisbane transport system

This was such a good tour with fresh beer at the end! The staff was so nice and willing to provide other soft drinks for you if you were easily drunk. However it was a pity that the bottling process had be finished in the day when we were having the tour. It was still a great experience though!

My first time joining a brewery tour and it was informative. Shan, the brewery tour guide was good and witty while explaining around the brewery areas. The best part is surely the beer tasting session which is at the end of the tour. You are provided with 4 miniature glass for tasting but you can have more if there are more glasses left.
