When arrived I tried to check in 10 mins prior to the departure time and No One wanted to check my husband's and I in. They talked among themselves but no one would let me know if we were checked in or not. Finally, a young man asked 2 tour guides if they wanted to take us on the their carriage and they flat out refused. They young man said he had just gotten back from a tour. It was a VERY uncomfortable situation and I even would say racist moment. The young man finally gave in and took us on the tour a little after 5pm when it was supposed to start and we returned back 20 mins til 6pm but we paid for an hour. We are highly disappointed and feel obligated to share this experience with friends and family. Especially with my network, one huge one being my sorority sisters who were in town 2 weeks ago for a conference, a group of 16,000+. I don't know what that was about but it made us feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

Check was pretty smooth. It was nice that they had my name and I did not have to show my email or anything because my phone was dead at the end of the day. Our tour guide/driver, Jenny, was extremely knowledgeable and easy to listen to, politely answered all questions, and was very friendly! Our mule, O'Reilly, was very gentle and well- behaved, with enough spunk to make the ride fun.

KJ went above and beyond for our tour group. He went into great detail about the history and culture of New Orleans. He made it feel like you were back in the 1700-1800's. He was fun, scary, and very informative. Magnolia, the mule, was very well trained and did an excellent job also.
