I appreciated this trip because Pompeii is so large and there aren’t signs. You wouldn’t know where to go or what you’re looking at without a guide. The trip to Vesuvius was great too. Wear tennis shoes. Definitely no sandals.

This tour had a lot of potential but didn’t quite live up to expectations. We were picked up by a van and brought to the tour bus, which was great, but it seems that those who purchased through other companies didn’t have this option. We spent the next hour doing 3 laps of Sorrento in the bus to pick up others from their hotels. We were then delayed by an accident on the highway, which really cut our Pompeii tour short. The guide was very informative and easy going, but we only spent maybe 2 hours in Pompeii. It would have been great if he gave the summary of the events on the bus since we were delayed instead of when we arrived, and if not for the hour wasted on the bus, we could have seen a lot more. We felt rushed along and had little opportunity for pictures. The hike up Vesuvius was great and gave great views of the area, and the driver was also great. Food at the restaurant was very good and a reasonable price. Overall a good tour, but left us feeling like we’ll need to go back

Wirklich ausgezeichnet organisiert – beginnend mit der Abholung in der Früh bis zur Rückkehr am Abend. Tolle Bootsfahrt, alle Mitarbeiter waren außergewöhnlich bemüht, und der Ausflug auf den Vesuv und die Führung in Pompeji mit Giusi (Josefine) waren ausgesprochen unterhaltsam! War wirklich eine Topveranstaltung!
