The private, guided tour of the Van Gogh museum was awesome! The museum is great and our guide (Ilaria) was absolutely wonderful! She guided us skillfully through the museum for 2.5 hours and made sure we learned as much as possible about Van Gogh, his paintings and his life. Highly recommend this tour!

The “Private” tour changed to “Simi Private” once the time came for the event. It was still a great tour of the museum, the guide was excellent. I think there were six or seven in our final group. I was just by my self for this visit.

The tour was excellent. The tour guide was Anita, an art historian. Although she chose the paintings to talk about she was thorough with the art history and brought fresh perspectives to the paintings.

Touring these two museums are a must if you are visiting Amsterdam. It’s easy as they are neighbors to each other. But what these tours so outstanding was Victoria, our guide. Request her, please.

This is a great museum with not only works of Van Gogh, but other artists of his time as well. I chose to visit the Museum on a Sunday. I bought my voucher on Viator, but I still had to wait in two queue’s to get into the museum. This place is very busy, so plan to visit early in the morning if possible. It is for sure worth the 25 for the ticket. The gift shop is also very good if not a bit pricey.

We are not artsy people but do not miss this museum! Get the headsets. You will have a choice to do a fast tour. We were short on time and saw the entire museum in an hour. Learned a lot and really enjoyed the experience. Our entry time was 9:15 but they let you enter with the 9am group. Go EARLY…

V Gogh museum was ok. Interesting to see the paintings that inspired him. Canal trip was a disappointment. Extremely hot under the glass roof of the boat – and a recorded commentary was somewhat sterile.

Didn't use museum voucher, was concerned where and how to convert to ticket, so went online after contacting your site and bought timed entry ticket direct from VanGogh Museum. Did enjoy cruise when I discovered we could change the voucher and board right across the street from our hotel at Museumplein location.

Good but not enough Ilaria was terrific! She like what she does and it shows. The problem I see is that as you have only to hours you don’t get to see everything. And that for me is the point of this particular museum.

Informative, enthusiastic, entertaining. Rolf was well prepared on every facet of Van Gogh’s life and art. What a pleasure having such a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We felt we were privileged to gain such insight into the artist’s life and work. Can’t imagine a better tour guide.
