This tour is short and sweet, starting and ending at one of the first boutique wineries in Mendoza. Bodega Tierras Altas in Luján de Cuyo has been operating here since 1999 and has a storage capacity of over 250,000 liters in its stainless steel tanks.
On this tour, you get to see these steel tanks and sample wine from them. You’re guided through the process of winemaking on the farm and stroll through the vineyards to see the juicy grapes that start the process.

Gourmet lunch was superb. Our guide, Florencia was terrific. The two wineries selected, one very small and the other larger gave a good balance. The hosts at the wineries were very informative. While I purchased some wines. There was no pressure to buy.

We booked this through trip advisor and requested the English tour of the winery. When we arrived the lady who was running the tour was quite rude and seemed inconvenienced by the fact she had to do the tour in both Spanish and English. Despite this, it was quite interesting and the wine we tried was very nice, we decided to leave a tip but the lady wasn’t very grateful. The winery is also quite hard to reach and is on a very busy main road, so there weren’t many other visitors.
