Best Time to Go
Since it’s open to the public for such a short time, Keukenhof opening hours are always busy. This, however, is not a problem due to its massive size. It just means you’ll want those skip-the-line tickets so that you don’t have to stand in lines half the day.
If you want to avoid the crowds, visit Keukenhof when it opens, or in the late afternoon. Watching the sunset over the tulips is also a breathtaking sight! We also recommend you go on a weekday, as weekends are significantly busier.

Overall a good day out. It was a pity that we did not go in early April when the tulips would have been in full bloom and also the surrounding fields would have been a mass of colour. Will have to plan another visit in April.
