Best Time to Go on a Cape of Good Hope Tour

This tour of the Cape is just as wonderful on a good winter’s day as it is any other time. In summer, it can get very hot, so be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, and your costume if you’d like a dip in the cooling ocean.

The waiting lines for entrance into the National Parks are also usually much longer in the busier summer months (November to February). This is why we prefer spring and autumn when the weather is still lovely but the crowds have gone.

We had a fantastic day! Moritz is a great guide. We enjoyed his tour very much. We learned so much not just about the places we visited but about South Africa and the people. I am happy that we started our holiday in South Africa with his tour, as we learned much – information which was useful for our holiday. Thank you Moritz!

Excellent choice, wonderful time. Excellent choice, wonderful time. Our guide, Ian , from African Moon Adventures had a well planned itinerary, and was personable and informative throughout. The tea and biscuits at one of the stops was a very nice touch. Our only regret was that we did not discover African Moon Adventures earlier in our stay so that we could have booked other trips with them.
