Best Time to Go on a Cape of Good Hope Tour
This tour of the Cape is just as excellent on a good winter’s day as it is any other time. In summer, it can get very hot, so be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, and your swimming costume if you’d like a dip in the cooling ocean.
The lines for entrance to the national parks are also usually much longer during the busier summer months (November to February). This is why we prefer spring and autumn/fall when the weather is still lovely, and the crowds have gone.

This is a great option for people who don’t have a car to explore Boulders Beach and Cape Point. We had a knowledgable guide as we made the trip. Seeing the penguins on Boulders Beach was an incredible experience and we were given plenty of time to really appreciate it

nice trip. We went to boulders beach to see the penguins, then we went to cape point. We did a small hike there to cape of good hope. We had a good guide, he explained a lot of things while driving. The Entrance to boulders beach( penguins) and to cape point/cape of good hope is sepereate, so eventually you will have to pay more for the tour.

We had the pleasure to travel to Cape Point with Charles our wonderfully delighting tour guide. Saw Simon‘s Town and the penguins along the way and had a small little hike to Cape of Good Hope at the end of our journey. We wholeheartedly recommend everyone in the area to try the red bus and the cape explorer tour as well.
