Saludos!

We were picked up at our resort on time, and quickly got to Kruger. Our guide was very good at finding spots other tour groups weren’t at, but the animals were. We saw three of the big five before breakfast, and all of them by the end of the day! We also saw rarely animals, such as cheetahs and African painted dogs.

Jean Graham of Discover Kruger Safaris is the best person to share this incredible experience with on so many levels. Jean was on time, friendly and extremely knowledge. We got to see all of the Big Five and then some. She drove from one spot to another in order to observe upfront and personal all species of animals and birds. I even got to see large white snails. a snake, and a turtle just hanging on the side of the road. The meals and rest spots were perfect.I couldn’t think of having anyone else take us out. You have to plan on going out more than once. It is so worth it.

Dirk was our guide for a day at Kruger National Park. It was a brilliant day and Dirk was the perfect guide. Knowledgeable patient funny and determined to find the lions, who refused to come out, through no lack of effort on Dirk’s part..! If anyone knows more about this place than Dirk I’d be amazed.

This tour is excellent and worth my 5-star rating. Robert from Bono Safaris is the best tour operator bar none, thank you Robert. We really appreciate your excellent service and we will definitely recommend you to our friends and family if they decide to tour South Africa. The staff at Lukimbi Safari Lodge were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the lodge itself is very beautiful. The elephants and cape buffalos came during our afternoon lunch for a drink at the Lwakahle River. Our guide and tracker during the game drives are the best and very knowledgeable. We saw all the BIG 5 during our game drives plus other animals like the cheetah, hyaena, giraffe, jackal, kudu, zebra, wildebeest plus moreawesome and amazing! Were 100 satisfied with the customer service and experience provided to us.

This was our first safari holiday and had been arranged at much shorter notice than we would normally like to work to. We set off still not 100 sure what to expect but soon realised that we had hit the jackpot. The tour was superb and way beyond our expectations. The itinerary that Elise had put together with overnight stops at a variety of safari lodges was perfect and the whole trip was adapted as we went along to suit our preferences. We had to dodge the rains a little during part of our panoramic trip through the mountains so concentrated on visiting the waterfalls at their best at the expense of some of the views that were lost in the mist – the only unavoidable negative of the trip. To say that the combined knowledge shared by Johan and Elise was extensive would be an understatement and their dedication to providing the perfect experience for their guests is exceptional. Once in the Kruger Park, our hosts ability to spot the most elusive creatures hiding amongst the bush helped us to reap the full benefit of our visit. Anyone can spot an elephant crossing the road and the odd impala or two but, thanks to our experts help, we saw a huge variety of animals including Wild Dog, Klipspringer, Duikers, Honey Badgers and more bird species than we could possibly remember – there’s a lot more than just the Big Five which we had multiple sightings of. Our guides’ knowledge of habitats, plants and animal behaviour all stemmed from a huge wealth of experience. Knowing where and when to look for animals and what to listen out for can only be appreciated when you’ve seen such experts in action. Overall the use of the word wonderful in this trips title is more than justified. Very highly recommended – the first 5-star review we’ve ever awarded on this site.
